On a fragrant summer evening in "Good on ya, mate" Western Australia in 2004, travelling Brit Jon Brousson lay in his hammock pondering. He asked himself how he could create meaningful change by reducing waste and the prevalence of single use plastics. With a few sewing skills and some ingenuity, Jon created the first Onya reusable shopping bag.

Fast forward to today, and Onya has since grown into a company that literally takes plastic waste from landfill and turns it into something reusable for many years to come.

Onya now manufactures reusable produce bags, shopping bags, backpacks, coffee cups and one of the highest quality stainless steel drink bottle ranges on the Australian market.
